The Little Green Wedding Barn on the Norfolk and Suffolk border is a special one and as a Norfolk wedding videographer, it’s one of my favourite venues to film.
Tucked away in the Norfolk/Suffolk countryside, it’s one of those venues that just works, it was purposely built for weddings and it shows. The days just flow, there no fuss, just a really nice space to have a really good time with your favourite people.

The setting (and why it’s a dream to film)
The Little Green Wedding Barn has everything you need without feeling overdone. Natural light pours into the barn with open countryside all around. There is space to breathe.
It means your wedding film looks good without forcing anything. No need to manufacture moments when the setting already does half the work.
And when the sun starts dropping at golden hour, it’s amazing. Which brings me on to Polly & Joe’s wedding day at The Little Green Wedding Barn… They really embraced that golden hour!
A Real Wedding Day at The Little Green Wedding Barn | Norfolk – Polly & Joe
Polly & Joe’s wedding day at The Little Green Wedding Barn was back in August of 2025. Before this, I hadn’t filmed here since early 2024 and straight away noticed the changes they had made to the venue. Starting with that bridal suite, how cool! I love a venue which has everything in one place, prep/ceremony/reception, no travelling and stressing about timings, perfect!
It was a mostly cloudy start to the day, with an outside ceremony on the pristine lawn of The Little Green Wedding Barn, there was always that chance of a bit of rain. Fortunately the rain didn’t happen and it perfect. It had everything to make it great:

Where’s that sun?!
It was a very chilled out day, guests enjoying themselves outside, having a few drinks, playing some crazy golf and we were joined by a surprise brass band! They were called The Heavy Beat Brass Band and they were great! That’s the beauty of The Little Green Wedding Barn, you can really make the day your own, inside or out!
As enjoyable as the day was, I was half thinking, there’s no sun, will we get a golden hour?!
The speeches commenced in the barn side of the venue (again, brilliant speeches!) then there was a short break before the evening guests arrived. We came back in for Polly and Joe to cut their cake and before they were about to move to the dance floor for their first dance, BOOM, SUNSHINE! We were getting a golden hour! With all this excitement, Polly and Joe made the decision to move their first dance outside on the lawn which was just an amazing idea. First dance during golden hour?! wow.
The party continued outside led by the Heavy Beat Brass Band and the guests danced all night on the lawn, surrounded by Norfolk and Suffolk countryside.
